Similar Theft Accounts, From Farmer To Church

Over a week in early August, Newsday spoke with more than three dozen Baghdad residents who said they had had property stolen by U.S. troops - usually money, jewelry or other valuables. Similar cases have been reported by independent human rights groups working in Baghdad.
